Mountains and lakes are some of the special features of the Salzkammergut. MTB enthusiasts can let off steam on 1,450 kilometres of developed mountain bike trails and on 70 routes. Over 70 crystal-clear lakes and countless cosy huts provide a unique view and the necessary energy kick. "Nature and action in a double pack" - what more could an adventure-hungry mountain biker want?
Landscapes for bikers' passions as far as the eye can see and a peacefulness that is only broken by your own heartbeat.
Only once a year, when the legendary Salzkammergut Mountainbike Trophy brings the tyres to smoulder, is the peacefulness over for a weekend, when 3,400 ambitious bikers push their bodies to the limit and get all they can out of the mountain peaks north of the Dachstein.

Since more than 20 years Bad Goisern is the center of the Salzkammergut-Mountainbike-Trophy: 6 different levels - the hardest with about 210 km and 7100 hm in one day!

Alternatively to the great Trophy-Weekend there will also be a "Trophy Individual" , which makes it possible to complete the Trophy routes outside of the race weekend, including the classification!
Gravel-Biking
Gravel-Bikes, which offer a combination of wide tires like mountainbikes and a good transmission like racing bikes are a perfect option to expire the Salzkammergut-region
